Chris Edwards and Dave Tregenza, owners of Salts of The Earth drinks consultancy and award winning cocktail bar and restaurant The Shrub & Shutter (Time Out Love London Awards ‘Best Brixton Bar 2015,’ Open Table Diners Awards 2015) are excited to introduce their newest venture, situated in Herne Hill, South London.

The concept is health, nutrition and doctors orders but with our own unusual alcohol based twist. First Aid Box serves from 5pm daily, with the exception of Saturdays, where Alchemy coffee, Jing tea and fresh juices are available throughout the day, with the addition of our health inspired cocktails long into the evening.

We are now proud to introduce our new residency: Eastern Bloc is a Peckham inspired Eastern European venture started in 2015. Inspired by Peckham’s wild range of produce, its aim is to give people a taste of the unfamiliar, with an ever changing menu that’s all about grilling, charring and smoking, be it vegetables or exciting cuts of meat. Expect things like smoked sausages, eggplant pork belly, green beans & mango pickle and celeriac shawarma. Bringing you unexpected eastern twists for dinner & brunch, this residency isn’t one to be missed!
